Monitoring an Access Point or Controller

On AMP’s Device Monitoring page, your Help Desk staff sees detailed information about the particular access point to which the user is connected: its manufacturer, firmware version, IP address, MAC address, and more.

Up-to-date graphs show how many users have been connected to each radio – and how much cumulative bandwidth they have been using – over the past several hours. With this information, the Help Desk can quickly assess whether the Wi-Fi network is slow due to excessive usage.

With AirWave 5.0's Universal Device Support, the Help Desk can also quickly check the status of upstream switches or RADIUS servers to make sure they're functioning properly as well.
